Angela Li

VP, Operations

Providence Day School, Class of 2027

Hello! I am the Vice President of Operations, and I help with the organization and coordination of the youth group volunteers and activities. I also participate as a teacher in the tutoring sessions and a volunteer for various other events hosted by OllieTree. I enjoy working with other people to bring quality service to those in our community. In my spare time, I like reading and listening to music.

Clark Fan

VP, Technology

Charlotte Latin School, Class of 2027

I am the Vice President of Education and Technology. I help run our tutoring program, bringing new ideas and curriculum. I absolutely love teaching and helping others, as it brings me so much joy to see children grow and succeed. In addition, I am responsible for the OllieTree website to improve its accessibility, enhance its appearance, and keep the community updated.

I love to exercise and play cello.

Jonathan Yu

Hello! I am the Vice President of Communications at Ollie Tree. I help manage our outreach by creating posters and social media content to keep our community informed about upcoming events. I also enjoy tutoring students during OllieTree’s Sunday study sessions and volunteering at our health clinics. Outside of OllieTree, I enjoy fencing, biology, and volunteering at Novant Health.

Hi! I’m Dennis, and I am VP of Education! I’ve had such a great time teaching at Ollie Tree, and I am looking forward to continuing to aid students in their journeys. OllieTree is a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers alike to learn. I enjoy playing cello and traveling in my free time.

VP, Communication

Marvin Ridge High School, Class of 2028

Hello!! I am the Vice President of Communications at OllieTree. My responsibilities include creating informative flyers or posters for any OllieTree event for both advertising and promotion. Additionally, I actively participate in being a tutor and volunteer in any OllieTree programs. I immensely enjoy teaching others about core subjects, with the hope of their future growth.

I love to create origami and play golf during my spare time!

Ethan Liu

VP, Chess Program

Ardrey Kell High School, Class of 2028

I am the Vice President of the Chess Program at the Ollie Tree Foundation. As a National Master, I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and love for chess with kids of all levels. I provide coaching and lead free group lessons to help students grow their skills and confidence. I also help organize mini-chess tournaments to create fun and competitive opportunities for young players. Outside of chess, I enjoy running and am a member of the Ardrey Kell High School Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track teams.

I’m the Vice President of Communications. I provide logistical support at events. I have contributed to managing OllieTree’s online presence through video production and social media. I’ve also been invested in the Youth Group’s educational tutoring.

I am member of the school’s Speech and Debate team. I also play the piano for both competitive purposes and my own enjoyment.
